  2. (Leslie-Hill) Based on the quiz results it said that a career in Clinical psychology is best. Clinical psychology is about the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental disorders. These people often work in hospitals and can specialze in child mental health, adult mental health, learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, substance abuse, geriatrics and health psychology.
it is considered to be the largest subfield in psychology. =D

It said i could consider a clinical psychologist, well i would enjoy the "medical" aspect of this job, but other than that i dont really feel it fits me. i enjoy helping other people, but i would rather help them in more of a medical way like pharmacist, than a psychologist.

  11. The results of my quiz said that i should consider a career in "applied psychology". I love helping people so i could see myself in that career field. The results also told me 2 careers to choose from, industrial or forensic psychologists. Of the two i would choose forensic, it seems more interesting than industrial.

  21. Based on your quiz results, you might want to consider a career in applied psychology. Applied psychologists utilize their knowledge of psychological theories and principles to solve real-world problems. 22. Basedon my quiz results I should look for a career in therapeutic psychology. Jobs include Clinical Psychologist, School Psychologist, Counselors, Social Worker etc. I really don't think these careers are right for me. I would rather work on the medical side of psychology. I would like to have a doctorate and not have to work in a school setting.

  23. My results were Applied Psychology. After reading over the choices it gave me, both sounds appealing: Industrial Organizational Psychologist, and Forensic Psychologist.

Industrial because I rather enjoy the idea of working in a tall building, with nice funiture, lamps, and a huge desk. I know, it sounds silly, but I've always enjoyed that idea. (Freak Friday reference, get it?) However, I don't do well with numbers, and if I'd have to deal with that, forget it.

Although, the Forensic Psychologist is prefered. And I think the reason why is because as I have grown up, South Carolina's Child Services has contiuned to suck up the state harder and harder ever year. I cannot begin to explain how disgusted I am by DSS and the sheriff's department. Anyway, I would absolutely love to be able to bring justice to those who are abused; childern, wives, husbands, etc. I'd love to bring down the filthy people who are abusive, and be able to help out those who are in need of such. I don't feel the people here should be in position to help when they don't do anything about it. Again, I am very disgusted. Of course that weighs my preference.

Could I do both? That would be interesting.

  24. My test result was a clinical psychologist. Clinical psychologists often work in hospitals, private practice or academic settings. Clinicians are trained in a range of techniques and theoretical approaches. Some specialize in treating certain psychological disorders, while others work with clients suffering from a wide variety of problems. This accurately describes me. I love to help people with their problems and people tell me that they come to me first because I am such a good help. This is actually perfect because my career choice is to become a child psychologist, which is why I'm taking this class.

  25. When i finished my test, it told me that i'd be good in the developmental field of psychology. i feel like this would be accurate because i like working hands on with people. However i do not want to be a psychologist when i grow up so this test would only work for some people , i guess.
