ReplyDelete1). First-time mothers over 35 are more likely than women in their 20s to have difficulties in labor.Also mothers who are over age 40 have the highest risk of c-section.
ReplyDelete2).Make sure I Plan for pregnancy by seeing a doctor before I decide to have a baby and because of health risks I would decide to not have a baby in my 30s or 40s.
1) I basically learned alot about the risks involved with pregnancy. The slightest bit of toxins that you put in your body travles directly to your baby while pregnant. I also learned how painful pregnancy is; c-sections, ripping, tearing, possible death!

ReplyDelete1. I learned about some medical risks associated with pregnancy. Such as birth complications, c-section risks, as well as death from things such as blood clots and more. Scary....
2. This doesn't really affect me as a parent someday because I've already decided that I'm going to adopt all of my children and have my tubes tied! no child birth for me!!!

ReplyDelete1. I learned a lot of asfety tips...like how to youse infant seat. And a lot of other safety tips.(Hazardous toys,Keeping your kid healthy etc...)
2. Im sure it will help me a lot in a future...so i can get my kid from point A to point B safely....but it will be a long time untill i use it....im planing on makin a kid when im like 50? xD
1) I learned about how many things that can easily affect you while you're pregnant. I already knew alot of pregnancy and things like that so it basically just refreshed my memory of a lot of the hazards that there are and how safe you have to be because most of the harmful things you take in while you're pregnant, affect your baby directly.

1) I learned alottt about the risks that come with being pregnant, and how important it is to stay healthy while your pregnant.The toxins you consume while you are pregnant goes straight to your baby.
ReplyDelete2) This just made me more sure that i never want to have kids. Its too painful, and too much to deal with, and worry about. Id rather live a happy, fun life with a husband, and no lil hellians running around.
1) I didn't know there was such a thing, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome!! SIDS is when a infant between one month and one year die unexplainably! There is no know cause and no way to prevent the syndrome!! It is the worst thing I've ever heard of!!
ReplyDelete2)This information has terrified me for when I am a parent! I will try and watch my infant more in those few months to see if anything weird should happen. I will also try to be more cautious about placing then in thier crib and things like that.
i learned about the car seat i still probally couldnt do it right but i learned that you should and what your suppose to do

*1.) I learned that most Parents who don't breastfeed later regret it later in life. But, the kids that they didn't breastfeed usually breastfeed their own children.

1. I learned that there are many different kinds of herbs that can help and hurt you during and after having a baby. For example the herb calendula cream helps with a baby's diaper rash.

1. I did not know that Aloe Vera is bad for women during pregnancy. This is shocking to me because most creams and moisterizers contain aloe vera. Another herb I found surprising was cinnamon. Most pregnant women crave sweets and some of these food like cinnabun is obviously made of cinnamon. WOW! well ther are other herbs that are good during delievery and post pregnancy like ginder and oats:)

1. I did not know that Aloe Vera is bad for women during pregnancy. this made me very concerned as well bc like kitty said creams and moisterizers contain aloe vera. also when it comes to down to knowledge about your children, you need to know alot. for ex. a car seat. many people struggle with that. and it's best to know what your doing in that situation.

1)i learned that nutrition is very important why you are pregnant, it can either help or harm your baby so you have to be careful with what your diet.

1) I learned that an infant's spinal cord cannot handle the forces/impact of a car accident because the vertebrae are not yet turned completely to bone. For this reason until they are a year old and at least 20 pounds, infants should not face forward in car seats.

i read about cold weather safety. Since children are smaller they lose body heat faster and will have more cold related problems.

ReplyDeleteI chose Cold Weather Saftey. I learned the color of frostbite, the ways to help fix it. I learned the treatments, and precautions.
1, i learned the differant thin gs like lotions and food that are bad for you durig pregnancy. this really helps me now, i did not know that at all! its kind of shocking to me!

1. i read about the risks for SIDS and ways to help prevent it. i learned that the biggest risk is babies sleeping on their stomachs.

ReplyDeleteI learned about SIDS. It is very frightening and I don't ever want to deal with it personaly. It sort of makes me feel helpless, because you can do certain things to help prevent it but things can always happen. I know someone whos family member had a child who died by SIDS and it really tore up the family, understandably. It will always scare me and I think it may make me slightly paranoid as a parent.
