  2. 1). First-time mothers over 35 are more likely than women in their 20s to have difficulties in labor. Also mothers who are over age 40 have the highest risk of c-section.
2).Make sure I Plan for pregnancy by seeing a doctor before I decide to have a baby and because of health risks I would decide to not have a baby in my 30s or 40s.

  6. 1) I learned about how many things that can easily affect you while you're pregnant. I already knew alot of pregnancy and things like that so it basically just refreshed my memory of a lot of the hazards that there are and how safe you have to be because most of the harmful things you take in while you're pregnant, affect your baby directly.

2)I don't want to have any children. If i do have a child, it'll probably be an accident. Like no joke. Or I'll adopt an asian baby 'cause they're cute...and smart ;)

  8. 1) I didn't know there was such a thing, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome!! SIDS is when a infant between one month and one year die unexplainably! There is no know cause and no way to prevent the syndrome!! It is the worst thing I've ever heard of!!
2)This information has terrified me for when I am a parent! I will try and watch my infant more in those few months to see if anything weird should happen. I will also try to be more cautious about placing then in thier crib and things like that.

  12. 1. I did not know that Aloe Vera is bad for women during pregnancy. This is shocking to me because most creams and moisterizers contain aloe vera. Another herb I found surprising was cinnamon. Most pregnant women crave sweets and some of these food like cinnabun is obviously made of cinnamon. WOW! well ther are other herbs that are good during delievery and post pregnancy like ginder and oats:)

    2. Knowing this information has opened my eyes as I now know what I should stay away from and use in my household when I plan on starting my family.

  15. 1) I learned that an infant's spinal cord cannot handle the forces/impact of a car accident because the vertebrae are not yet turned completely to bone. For this reason until they are a year old and at least 20 pounds, infants should not face forward in car seats.
    2) This article will help me take the necessary precautions in buying the proper car seat and in making sure i seat the child correctly&in the right direction

  21. I learned about SIDS. It is very frightening and I don't ever want to deal with it personaly. It sort of makes me feel helpless, because you can do certain things to help prevent it but things can always happen. I know someone whos family member had a child who died by SIDS and it really tore up the family, understandably. It will always scare me and I think it may make me slightly paranoid as a parent.

  24. 1. i learned a lot of facts about pregnancy like the danger it brings with it and pain, etc.
    2. it just shows that pregnancy should not happen just like that. and that it's a lot more than just getting a baby. it's a whole stage of life, with a lot of changes and risks involved ! i mean that just points out that YOU have to be grown up and old enough to be able to deal with the whole responsibility and the whole thing .
